4 Tips for 4-at-a-Time Flying Geese

Want cleaner flying geese with fewer redos? Keep these tips in mind:

✅ Cut accurately to start—even small miscuts can throw off your final geese. Double-check your square sizes before sewing.
✅ Use a scant ¼" seam to help preserve your points after trimming.
✅ Press carefully—set the seam first, then press away from the center to keep things flat.
✅ Trim to size—square up your blocks to the correct size to make sure everything fits together perfectly. A specialty flying geese ruler can make this step a breeze.

The 4 at a Time Flying Geese method is fast, but a little precision goes a long way toward beautiful blocks.
